Positions Available

Languages Teacher: Part-Time Permanent

Living Faith Lutheran Primary School is seeking to employ a Languages Teacher in a part-time (0.8 FTE) permanent capacity, commencing January 2022 or by negotiation. Applications from teachers of all languages are invited, although Auslan, Gubbi Gubbi and Asian languages will be particularly well-received.

The successful candidate will serve in a team-oriented, Christian workplace where collaboration is a cultural feature. While not essential, applications will show recent experience as a primary school Languages teacher, as well as having a well-articulated vision for the delivery of a strong and innovative language and cultural immersion program that inspires, excites and immerses primary school students. A passion and aptitude for collaboration, resourcefulness and contemporary teaching strategies will be viewed particularly favourably by the employment panel.

Tuckshop & Catering Manager - Permanent Term-Time

Living Faith Lutheran Primary School is seeking to employ a Tuckshop and Catering Manager in a permanent 38-hours per week term-time capacity, commencing January 2022.

Key elements of the role are (1) running the tuckshop, (2) filling the school’s catering needs and (3) delivering a community-oriented coffee service for the parent body. The Tuckshop and Catering Manager is responsible for recruiting, training and managing volunteers to assist with the provision of these services.

The successful candidate will contribute proactively to the Christian ethos of the school. While not essential, applications showing recent experience with the management of a tuckshop, catering and WH&S will be highly regarded. A passion and aptitude for community-oriented collaboration will also be viewed particularly favourably by the employment panel.
