Grace Lutheran College
Living Faith Lutheran Primary School values its partnership with Grace Lutheran College. Students of Living Faith receive priority entry to Grace and a bus service exists to connect students between Living Faith and Grace, offering convenience for families whose children attend both schools.
Founded in 1978, Grace is a co-educational Year 7 to 12 Lutheran school, with campuses in Rothwell and Caboolture.
Grace's Middle School boasts a well-developed pastoral care and curriculum base with caters to individual needs. Students in Year 7 are taught by two core teachers for a significant part of their day, and these teachers are also their home class teachers. Development of relationships between peers and teachers is further cemented through pastoral care lessons and a lively camping program. Opportunities abound for student leadership, with all students able to participate in the School Representative Council. Further, from Year 9, students are now holding positions such as Middle School Captain and Middle School House Captain.
In the Senior School, there is a strong focus on empowering and equipping students to be worthwhile contributors to their community and protectors of their environment. Physical activity is encouraged through a compulsory physical education and sports program. Extensive Performing Arts and Creative Arts (Grace Academy) opportunities exist for students with an interest in these areas. The College camping program is quite remarkable, with Japan, German and Gallipoli amongst the destinations.
Living Faith works cooperatively with Grace College to promote a seamless transition from the primary setting to the high school setting, whilst maintaining the distinctive identity of each school.
