Last week our Year 4 students participated in their annual camp at the CYC Gold Coast Adventure Camp. This outdoor education experience provided valuable opportunities to strengthen social connections, build independence, and develop teamwork and confidence.

Students engaged in a variety of activities, including beach experiences, Hydro Quest, giant paddle boarding, team games, swimming, and a trivia evening. These activities encouraged collaboration, personal challenge, and the extension of students beyond their comfort zones in a supportive environment.

The camp was an excellent success, with students demonstrating commendable behaviour and engagement throughout. The experience has contributed positively to both individual growth and the continued development of a strong and connected Year 4 cohort. We acknowledge and thank the following staff for their care and support of our Year 4 children at camp last week: Mrs Amanda Champ, Ms Ayesha Richards, Mrs Lindie DeLange, Mrs Kellie Bowden, Ms Megan Hill, Mr Tim Gregory, Mr Mark Hauser, Mr Brayden Rewald, Mrs Abby Jacobs and Ms Melissa Tronc.
