Silver Soirée – Celebrating 25 Years of Living Faith
On Friday, 24 October, our community gathered for a very special celebration – the Living Faith Silver Soirée, marking 25 wonderful years of our school.
With over 100 tickets sold, it was a beautiful evening of connection, storytelling, friendships and gratitude shared by past and present parents, staff and members of the Living Faith church community.
We extend our sincere thanks to our 25th Anniversary Committee – Pastor Michael, Gail Lindner, Jaki Graham, Donna Gilbert and myself – who have worked over many months to shape this true milestone event. In recent weeks, Angela Lukritz also provided outstanding support in coordinating the auction, which was a major feature of the evening thanks to the generosity of so many contributors.
A highlight for many was the stunning exhibition of student-created art from Prep to Year 6, curated with great care by Talitha Phillips, Lisa Patterson, Jaki Graham and Bianca Ravi. These artworks beautifully reflected the heart, creativity and unique learning identity of Living Faith.
Thank you to the staff, families and church members who attended, volunteered their time or assisted behind the scenes. The success and overwhelming positive feedback from the night has sparked enthusiasm to continue this as an annual event in future years, as a way of celebrating the ongoing story of Living Faith together.
The focus of the Silver Soirée was about the coming together of community, but the evening did also manage to raise approximately $5,000 with the proceeds going to the development of the Junior Primary Playground.
Peace
