The Prep programme at Living Faith is a lively, vibrant experience, balancing child-initiated play with academic learning. Provision of a full time teacher aide in each Prep classroom allows the adult guidance needed to stimulate children’s learning.

Interactive whiteboards in each room provide the instant ability to find out more about a topic, as well as re-enforce the skills used in literacy and numeracy. Daily time is set aside for play, through which basic skills are again re-enforced through the skillful guidance of the staff.

Specialist lessons in Music, German and Physical Education are taught from Prep onwards. Prep children also receive a term of lessons in drama. A gross motor programme refines co-ordination skills, while ‘Fun Friends’ activities teach emotional resilience, goal setting and positive self-talk.

Prep children are embraced as members of the school community, attending chapel and assemblies and nurtured by visits from their Year 6 buddies.
