Our Parent Body

The commitment of parents is seen in many ways – there are volunteers who assist in the tuck-shop, uniform shop, classrooms and library or who help on sports days, camps or excursions.

Parents from each class volunteer their services as Class Representatives who are there to support families within their child’s class. Meeting with the Principal once a term opens an avenue of communication between the school administration and school families.
Event Coordinators oversee the fund raising calendar for the year, supported in turn by the Parent Representatives. Each year level takes responsibility for one fund-raising event per year, thus spreading the load among families. A fundraising highlight is the biennial October Fair when the school opens itself to the wider community for a fun filled day. Funds raised go towards the further development of the school grounds and facilities.

Parents are also represented on our School Council and it’s sub-committees, the body responsible for the strategic vision of the school.
